Focus on the Sustainable Development

At Grupo Herdez® we operate under a strategic framework that has enabled us to mitigate risks and make significant progress on our path toward sustainable development.

We align our strategy with 7 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), structured around three pillars that guide our management: People, Community, and Planet.

In 2022, through the issuance of sustainability-linked bonds HERDEZ 22L and HERDEZ 22-2L, we committed to reducing our water consumption per ton produced by 25% by 2030, aiming to reach 1.98 m³ per ton. By the end of 2024, we achieved 21.7% progress toward the goal, reaching an intensity of 2.06 m³.

The management of our sustainability strategy is the responsibility of the Sustainability Committee, made up of the Group’s Executive Committee and led by the Finance and Sustainability Division.
